Among the activities planned for the day are dance, sketches by Everyman Theatre, Thomas Trilby circus act, competitions, information on climate change and recycling, arts workshops, a magic show, line dancing, belly dancing, Capoeira (an Afro-Brazilian art form that combines elements of martial arts, games, music, and dance), a samba band, Tai Chi, a creatures of the rainforest workshop, composting instruction, local community group activities, a range of children's entertainment, cycling training and repair, energy saving information, waste management information, jobs, volunteering and training information, family advice and guidance, a mobile police station, a calligraphy workshop, Play Rangers activities, The Fun Music man, football tournaments, health walks, a raffle and tombola and much more. There will be a BBQ and refreshments are available.
