New bus service 99 in Cheltenham

A new park and ride bus service was launched in Cheltenham this week. Four buses are now available on a new route 99 which is run by Stagecoach in partnership with Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The service, which runs Monday to Friday, will provide passengers with a shuttle bus between the two hospitals and a park-and-ride service from the Racecourse to Cheltenham General Hospital. The route has four stops only: Cheltenham Racecourse Park & Ride, Albion Street, Cheltenham General Hospital College Road and Gloucestershire Royal Hospital in Gloucester. The buses run every half an hour in peak time.

  1. I think the bus service 99 is ideal for Nurses & NHS staff between Gloucester and Cheltenham & vice-ar-versa i have one complaint the majoraty of people who get on the first 0730 bus from Gloucester start work at 0800 because of peak time traffic in Longlevans & Cheltenham we are always LATE could the 99 bus in the morning leave Gloucester Royal at 0715 we are very pleased with the service as parking in cheltenham is none existant (even though we pay £35.00 a year to park??}Please consider this request as we Nurses are a dedicated bunch i work in the thearter and being late is a NO! NO!tHanks again the service is GREAT.{P.S.} Thank Mr Shelto Thomas. Regards the Gloucester Nurses
